Projet System acquires 50% of Wadiko GmbH
As a lead in developing the best aftermarket support Projet
System has acquired 50% of Wadiko GmbH.
Wadiko is based in Neustadt, in the south of Germany and the
company focuses on aftermarket support mainly within the 2D
waterjet technology with a complete product range for waterjet
cutting systems and also offers service, maintenance, training,
technical support, relocation of equipment and customized
solutions.
Thorsten Zander, who is the owner to the remaining 50% of Wadiko
has over 20 years of experience from waterjet technology and before
the founding of Wadiko he held the position as Aftermarket manager
for Waterjet Swedens operations in the German market.
"With this acquisition we continue to develop our
aftermarket support and strengthen our position as market leader.
The merger means that we broaden our product portfolio and we get a
real footprint in one of our key markets, Germany. Also, with the
competence within Wadiko we are able to offer the customers in our
home market, Sweden, and surrounding countries a broader range of
both products, services and support since we now cover all major
waterjet systems available in the market", says Ulf
